first sunday
Our day started pretty eventful.Witnessed a crime scene on our way to the flea market (which we failed to find). We saw a man scrambling towards us and we quickly turned to our backs and walked as fast as we could. There were lots of screaming and hysterics followed by the sound of siren. To say we were afraid at that very moment is an understatement. Surreal.
I was briefly enchanted by this tall skyscraper at the Media Park.
Chanced upon another fleamarket by the Rhine. This one stretched from East to West so it was a pretty long exercise for the both of us.
My stomach followed as my nose scavenged for food. I was tempted by the look of this delicacy called 'Kartoffelpuffer' which is basically potato pancake.
Ratri and her heart-shaped waffle.
What I love about Cologne today:
1. Quick police and ambulance response
2. Local fleamarket (that sells all my food styling props dreams)
First day of orientation week tomorrow. I'm excited and nervous and feeling all kinds of feels. Till then!
